A downloadable zine

Ever wanted to be published for real for real? Like in a magazine or an anthology? Ever wanted to πŸ˜ŽπŸ’΅ GET PAID πŸ’΅πŸ˜Ž for your writing? And you don't want to spend $50-$500 for a webinar telling you how to do it?

Then do I have the zine for you!

This 8 page zine (6 interior pages + front/back covers) includes all the info you need to get your short stories, flash fiction, and novelettes published in literary journals, magazines, podcasts, websites, anthologies, and pretty much any other thing that takes unsolicited submissions!

(And poems, too, technically, but this zine doesn't go over the specifics of poetry formatting and packaging. But everything else about the submission process is the same.)

Your "purchase" gets you 2 PDFs. One is formatted to be read on a computer with the pages in sequential order. The other has the pages arranged so you can print it out as a physical zine if you have a printer and want a tiny little book sitting on your desk. Works either in BW or CMYK!

Since none of the info in this is, like, groundbreaking insights or things you can't find with enough googling on your own, they're available for πŸŽ‰free!πŸŽ‰ And I know that writers don't always have a ton of money. So if you download it without paying, that's totally fine! Don't feel bad about it at all.

Don't reupload this elsewhere and claim that it's your own, since that's not cool. You can replicate/store this file however you like for your own personal usage. If you have any questions or run into any issues, feel free to reach out or leave a comment here.

Install instructions

Open and read these PDFs in your PDF reader of choice.

The print version should be printed as a double-sided print and flipped on the "long side," if that's an option. Fold it in half (hamburger style), and then fold it in half (hamburger style) again, with the covers as the parts outside, of course! You can also google quarter-page zine and get diagrams/videos on how to do that, if these instructions are terrible.
